Renovation in a building thoughtfully achieved with formal lightness and a sensitive awareness of chromatic effects used to create an unbroken balance between the old and new. A brilliant use of colour for the ceramic floor surfaces, where the patterns and ornamental arrangement of the various different elements recreate a harmonious whole that re-interprets the original, decorative composition by using modern materials.
The details and overall tile laying methods have been very accurately studied and obtained by sophisticated processes that turn the design features and technological properties of porcelain stoneware to the very best account.
