From a formal aspect, the building stands out for the way the external volumes have been broken up by the chromatic effects on the surfaces and by an alternation of materials that adds interest to the fronts of the construction. The geometric design of the façade is defined by an accurate square mesh in which the warp formed by the ceramic cladding and that of the window frames and glazing blend with each other in perfect harmony. The window, and the glass and aluminium component are used to form the composition, like macro modules of the tile. Use of the ventilated wall, applied correctly in all detail, reflects a precise installation layout that mirrors the patterning effect achieved by the window openings.

Shabunin Boris Alexandrovich è nato a Mosca, dove si è laureato presso l'Istituto di Architettura di Mosca MARHI nel 1979. L'attività professionale inizia nello studio dell'architetto Cernyavskyi; a cominciare dal 1990 fino a oggi lavora nel proprio studio privato, dove ha realizzato una serie di progetti tra i quali il complesso residenziale a Naberezhnie Celni, la casa d'abitazione in via Havskaya, il complesso residenziale in via Yamskoro Polja. È stato premiato dal governo di Mosca per il miglior lavoro di restauro e ricostruzione dell'ambiente storico-urbanistico di Mosca.
